The first day was mostly spent traveling, but we did get here just in time for a quick little tour around the property and then enjoyed dinner at one of the restaurants. If you were following along via snapchat, then you say that I got (#shocker) risotto with a tomato and mozzarella salad (I think I live off of that combo).
Here’s another look at my instagram snap from the first night but we also took some more photos that you’ll see(and outfit details) if you keep scrolling 🙂
If you’re wondering why on earth I’m wearing these wedges in the sad (ha!), it’s okay….I’m wondering the same thing. #allforTheShot hehe But in other news, these things are SUPER comfortable and they have Velcro to attach (which is the bomb.com if you ask me!)
One thing I’ve noticed about this place is that there are swings EVERYWHERE and you guys, I LOVE it. For instance, there are swing beds in the check in area for easing the whole process after a long day of traveling. Additionally, there are swing beds by the bar too (see photo below) for relaxing and enjoying the breeze near the beach. And in this photo above, I’m sitting on the swings that are on the beach (obviously) 🙂
Shop The Look:
SHOES: Vince Camuto ‘Kaja’ wedge sandals (wearing size 7; despite reviews saying to size down) // TOP: 1. State Peplum Crop Top // DENIM: AG Legging Jeans // WATCH: Timex // BRACELET: Stella + Dot via Accessorie Concierge // NECKLACE: Kendra Scott ‘Kaplan’ Necklace // LIPS: Too Faced ‘melted’ lipstick // CLUTCH: Shopbop Bop Basics (old – similar here)
how fun are these bed swings? I wish I could install one in my room 🙂 There are 5-ish of these located around the beach bar – so they’re perfect for enjoying the breeze (and a drink…) near the beach!

When you get to the resort, they ask you to choose between a variety of pillow options, ranging from soft and fluffy to firm and squishy (ha! if that makes sense?) And then they let you choose between 6 or so different “aroma therapy” scents that they they’ll then treat the pillows with. It makes you feel very VIP (insert sassy emoji girl here). But really though, I loved the attention to detail and how relaxing the entire check in process was.
Fully stocked bathrooms with L’Occitane products
there are a few pools on the property but this is the adults only one near our room (which is a honeymoon suite lol). This pool doesn’t have a bar or anything but it’s kind of nice because it’s more peaceful and quiet and usually has very few people
