It pretty much rained ALL DAY on Wednesday here in Dallas, and I had to dress for the weather since I had quite a few errands to run that day and would be in the middle of it. I ended up braiding my hair because it got so drenched! And yes, I wore the same dress on Wednesday that I wore on Monday – lol. What can I say, it really is such a great GO-TO!

Friday morning I had a brunch at the Forty Five Ten “T Room”. I hadn’t ever been to this restaurant before but it was such a hidden gem – I’m sure I’ll go back! It’s actually a boutique with a restaurant in the back 🙂
Here’s another photo I took before heading over there but didn’t end up posting but I wanted to share here because you can see the skirt and shirt a little better.

I guess the rain all day Wednesday brought in some cooler temps because Friday was FREEZING! I felt a little edgy even wearing these open toe shoes, but I think that these didn’t look as strange paired with the sweater and jacket because they’re almost like “shooties” in that they cover most of your foot! Do you know what I mean? I tried this outfit on with the wedges in the photo above (the cork ones) and they looked super silly because it looked like I was confused (spring on bottom and fall on top lol).

On Saturday, I headed to Houston for the night so I could attend a baptism on Sunday morning. It was a super quick trip (a lot of driving though..) but it was nice because I got to see a few of my Houston friends Saturday night.
Unfortunately though, somewhere between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon I got super sick 🙁 and I woke up this morning even sicker. So I’m about to head to the minute clinic to get a shot maybe and some meds.
