How to Wear White Jeans During Those Transitional Months
Aside from pastels, I think I’m most excited about wearing whites and monochromatic neutrals this spring. Not only is it simple and crisp, but it’s easy to make multiple looks with a few staple pieces. If you haven’t gotten the memo by now (because I think I talk about it almost EVERY day on here), you pretty much NEED this sweater. Don’t hate me for bringing it up again (eek! haha) but this is the first time you’ve seen it in THIS color 😉
I like these jeans by AG and got them at Brian & Berry (a boutique-ish department store) while in Milan. They’re stretchy (yet the fabric is pretty thick, so it’s slimming) and the legs are skinny enough to wear with booties (either rolled up like I have here or tucked in if the shoe calls for it). They’re different than most of my jeans though because the waist isn’t SUPER high, but it’s nice to mix things up. I also appreciate that the waist isn’t TOO too low. All in all, they were a great find and purchase and I’m sure you’ll be seeing them a good bit around BTD this Spring!
I bought these booties for the color and because I love perforated leather. And because I think ‘the shootie’ (open toe bootie) is the perfect transitional shoe. In this outfit I’m wearing them with jeans, but I’ve got another outfit in mind to wear them with an easy sundress. The ankle is pretty skinny, so I don’t think you could tuck jeans in, but a rolled up pant looks good with it (like I have here – just make sure it’s a super skinny ankle pant).
