Can we talk about how fabulous these shoes are?! Aren’t they gorge?! I’m loving them and have had fun dressing them up AND down these past few weeks. Today I’m styling them in a casual chic look with distressed jeans.
Depending on which way you look at it, this outfit could be a great guide for demonstrating how to dress up distressed jeans OR for how to dress down (with a casual chic vibe) your favorite pair of evening shoes. Either way, mixing fancy and casual is a fun way to get more out of your wardrobe and create original and unexpected looks!

I mean….they’re just SO gorgeous but I also love how unique they are – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pair quite like them. And believe it or not, they’re actually very comfortable given the heel height. The mini platform (you can barely see it) really helps with the comfort (it makes the heel “pitch” not feel as high) and then the double buckle secures your foot in there perfectly. In a nutshell, they’re amazing!

Wearing these bedazzled beauties with a cocktail dress is a no-brainer and probably what you would expect from a pair of shoes like these. Right? In fact, the last time I wore them was to a wedding with a cocktail dress.
BUT I wanted to challenge myself and get MORE out of these shoes by dressing them down with a pair of distressed jeans and a leather jacket. I wore this look to date night last week and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the nonchalant glam vibe this combo – fancy jeweled heels with casual distressed jeans – turned out.

I want to take a hot second to call out this jacket. I’ve had it for a few years but have gotten so much good wear out of it – especially during those awkward months between seasons (March and April especially!). When I first bought it, I didn’t think I’d wear it as much as I do, but I always end up grabbing it as I’m running out the door to throw on if it’s cold at a restaurant or as an extra element to complete my outfit or make it more interesting.
It’s also super cute over a sundress. And for under $100, you really can’t find another good-looking black leather jacket. I love how it’s got a feminine vibe to it too rather than having that “moto” look with lots of hardware that most black leather jacket options have these days (although I like that too – it’s nice to have both options)
It’s sold out at most retailers right now, but Shopbop does have a few sizes left – hopefully they’re restock soon. Regardless, you’ll be sure to see this again and I’ll keep you updated on the stock situation.
