I had every intention of dreaming up something interesting to talk about in today’s blog post and then writing it last night, but Bryan (if you’re new, he’s my boyfriend and I usually call him “B”) had other plans. We’ve both been pretty busy this week and haven’t gotten to spend much time together, so he sort of just showed up circa 7 last night and declared I was done working for the day with a glass of chardonnay.
Ummm…how could I turn THAT down? Twist my arm! So needless to say, I didn’t get a chance to think of something interesting to talk about and I’m just now sitting down to try and finish up this blog post at 8 am Friday morning! But it’s all good because that’s life, right?!

As most of you might have seen on my snapchat (username is “brightonkeller”), I’m headed to Banff, Canada this weekend for a wedding with B! I’m so excited because I’ve heard that it’s breathtakingly beautiful and unlike any other place! EEEK So excited y’all! And while I’m on the topic of snapchat, I just wanted to say thank you again for those of you who follow me on there and are so supportive of my little behind-the-scenes vulnerability chats lately! You guys have been so fun to engage with – I only wish y’all commented that much on my blog!

Speaking of interacting with y’all more on my blog, let’s try and do this more….shall we? I’ll do my part by talking about things that’re more engaging that just a simple outfit (although I’ll still be covering fashion a lot of course!). And you do your part by saying hello 🙂 I’d love it and I promise I read every single one! Also, I’m still in the works about figuring out another commenting method (rather than disqus) so it will be easier for y’all. I’m hoping to implement something that only requires you to enter your name and email – maybe then it would be more approachable? what do you think?
