Hey there friends! I’m finally back from traveling and so excited about it! I love traveling and Lake Tahoe was AH-MAZING but I start to crave my bed and routine after awhile. And so it always feel so good to get back into town, unpack my bags, do some laundry and gear up for doing all the catch up things that tend to pile up when you’re out of town.

Behind the Scenes at BTD: Blog Posts & Things

Since it’s sort of become tradition for my BTD weekly posts to also include what’s been going on behind the scenes and what’s to come, I wanted to take a minute to update y’all on a few things in the works! And plus, I love getting your feedback and hearing what y’all are excited about too!

Coming This Week to BTD:

• Last Minute, fun and easy things to do for halloween (it’s in LESS than a week!) – I’ve got a short and sweet little post coming on Thursday with some last minute ideas to get you excited for Halloween. After all, it is THIS coming Monday! It’s on a school night (yes, I still say school for some strange reason), so I doubt things will get too roudy but it still might be worth doing something fun with your friends nonetheless. I imagine all the craziness will happen over the weekend. Speaking of, do you have any fun plans to “celebrate” halloween?
• Road Trip Itinerary + Tips for planning a Road Trip – still working on this post (ugh I know, it’s taking WAY too long!) but it should be done within this week and I REALLY hope to publish it on Friday!
  • Northeast Travel Guide – will be included in the Road Trip Itinerary post
  • Manchester City Guide – coming soon. To be honest I haven’t actually started this, but finishing the road trip post should expedite the manchester city guide process 🙂

Other Things I’m Working On + Upcoming:

• Holiday Parties – dressing shopping inspo and blog post coming soon. I plan to shoot for this blog post next week and publish by the second week in November. In the meantime, do you have any specific concerns or questions regarding holiday party attire?
• Holiday Shopping Guides – oh yeah! It’s that time of year friends! I know it’s not even Halloween (much less Thanksgiving), but you can never start too early, right?!
  • His & Hers gift guides – will go live 2nd week of Thanksgiving
  • Quick shop boutique with ready-to-shop categories – will go live by end of this week! I’ll update y’all once they’re up!
• What to wear to a fall wedding – I get this question quite often, so I’ve decided to dedicate a blog post to it. Is there anything specific you want me to talk about other than just outfit ideas and where to shop? I’m going to start on this today actually.
• How to Wear Leggings – I’ve been working on this for a bit and it’s actually gone through several changes. I recently decided that regular leggings and (faux) leather leggings needed separate blog posts because I quickly realized while writing that you wear them (cotton vs. faux leather) completely differently. But first I’ll be covering regular (cotton) leggings, sharing several outfits I’ve worn in the past and talking about style tips for wearing them in general. Let me know if you have any specific questions on this post specifically!
• FAQ – this is LONGGGG overdue but I’ve decided to start drafting a FAQ for you guys. I’ve been putting together questions I can recall and going through old emails, but if there’s anything you want me to FOR SURE answer, please comment below so I can address it!

1. Canyon City – I mentioned being in love with his song “waves” and I think a few of y’all are now a little obsessed too right?! it’s so good! I love pretty much everything Paul Johnson (the singer) has on Spotify
2. LANY – loving “ILYSB” (I know, i’m late the party) and “Yeah, Babe No Way” and I’ve legit had both those songs on repeat lately and may or may not have random dance parties in my room and car. Just sayin…

And then on another note, I recently discovered an ALMOST identical windowpane scarf like I wore in my suede skirt blog post the other week. It’s a really great basic and looks awesome with black, grey, and any color really!
