Wine Colored Sequins

Hello hello! How was everyone’s weekend? I hope it was a good one! As for me, mine was great! My sister came in town to visit this weekend! (yay!). She’s been SUPER busy with her first year of medical school, so it was such a treat to get to spend some time with her.  I loved hearing about all the cool (and not-so-cool…aka kinda yucky) things she’s learned so far. So fascinating – to say the last. But above all, I was just SO excited to see her and enjoyed every second we had together. I can’t wait until ALL of us (both my sisters AND my brother) are home for Thanksgiving!

Today I have quite the fancy (and somewhat sassy) ensemble for you. But don’t think you can only wear this little sparkling beauty to special events, either. I’m telling you, it would actually be REALLY fun to dress down. Don’t you think? To make it a little more casual, I’d pair it with boots or flats and then maybe even (gasp!) a jean jacket. Thoughts? Regardless of whether or not you would dress it up or down, I think it’s pretty fabulous. I love the long sleeves and most of all (duh!) the color. Speaking of, are you sick of this burgundy/oxblood/wine color yet? Or is it growing on you? (I’m speaking to those of you who weren’t too fond of it back when I first posted on it). Love it or hate it, hope you find some inspiration to pull out your sequins this weekend….or maybe even this week! Hope you have a lovely Monday!
