Although coming to Houston wasn’t really part of the plan for this week, I must say that I am pretty excited to go exploring today! New Orleans has a lot of great interior shops, but all the ones I’ve been to were full of antiques or were way out of my price range. So I’m excited to explore the options in Houston. I’m super excited to make a trip to West Elm too! If you live in Houston, do you have any suggestions for interior stores?? I’m all ears!!
I’m dying for parsons-like white lacquer book shelves and have the perfect place for them, but I can’t seem to find them anywhere! West Elm discontinued their Parons Tower last months and the ones at Home Decorators are backordered until November! I don’t think I can wait that long. I need shelves to put all my books and trinkets. I might just have to settle with Ikea, but I’m curious about the finish. Does it look like matte or shiny? If you have some, let me know!
