Before getting into the details of this outfit, I’m going to be completely honest and fill you in on a few things surrounding these boots. First, I kinda hated the white boot trend when I first saw them – or thought they were too “high fashion” for my style or whatevs. But like certain styles do, they grew on me (QUICK) and then I HAD to have a pair ASAP. I found these Steve Madden White Booties which I thought were one of the quieter styles when it came to white boots, plus I preferred the rounder toe to some of the other pointed toe options I’d seen. Also, I preferred leather to some of the patent leather options I’d seen as well. These were the best less expensive option I could find and I wasn’t about to invest in something that was SUPER trendy like this – especially when I was still a little unsure of how I felt or how I’d be able to style them for myself.
And then once they arrived, I tried them on with 3458903485 things and hated EVERYTHING. They legit sat in my closet for months before I ever actually wore them, much less shot them for the blog! This outfit that you’re seeing here is probably my 35th attempt at styling, and the first thing that I actually really liked together. Staying pretty polished yet simple with the rest of my outfit let the boots do the talking, but without trying too hard. And I think the black jeans and white boot combo looks really cool; I liked the black jeans a lot better than when paired with regular denim.
So, I know this style might not be a typical BTD outfit, but I’m sure some of y’all also like this trend and like to challenge yourself outta the box sometimes, right? And if you’ve also been trying to style damn white boots forever as well, then try something similar on and see what you think! Let me know!
