Last week one of my absolute best friends in the world got married and I was one of her bridesmaids. I’m not sure if people do this around the country (or if maybe it’s just a southern thing), but typically the Friday before the wedding weekend, the Bridesmaids host a luncheon to kick things off! The attire is usually “luncheon” attire which is always one that sort of trips me up a little bit. If you ask me, it’s sort of like “Sunday best” but with a little more flexibility and could sometimes even be a little dressier. Based on how everyone else was dressed at the event, this outfit was PERFECT!
It has been a minute since I’d been to one, and I wanted to get a new dress to celebrate. I was on the hunt for a ladylike, somewhat conservative dress that would be perfect for a luncheon and was having some issues finding something I LOVED.
