Whether you want to dress it up for work or down for play, there’s no arguing that you really can’t go wrong with a nice button down blouse. I have my fair share of these guys and wear them quite often. Once you have your classic black and white (because those two are pretty much necessary), I would recommend branching out a little bit.

I have a few neon colors…and some bright primaries….and even some loud printed ones. A major “PLUS”, in my opinion, is that I can wear it to work (well, maybe not the neon? yea…no. definitely too loud for an accountant), untucked with some skinnies, under a sweater for the “preppy” look, or even tied-up for the summer-casual look (did I miss any? haha).

So have you heard me ramble about this enough yet? haha. I thought so! So yea, equipment is probably the “best” on the market, but I also like J.Crew’s and sometimes banana republic has some good cuts?  What about you? Do you agree with me here? or do you have a different stance on the button up? please do tell…

PS: I am well aware that my writing is an english teacher’s worst nightmare….aka probably nowhere near grammatically correct. But when is our stream-of-consciousness ever grammatically correct? 🙂
