I go back and forth on whether or not I’m a fan of the “studs” that embellish the occasional shoe, jacket, or whatever-else-they’re-on. I know they’ve been around for quite some time, particularly on shoes, but I’ve just had mixed feelings about the whole “look”. I typically lean towards more of a “delicate” and lady-like look and often feel silly imagining myself in, say, a leather studded jacket. You know? (ha!) But I had a change of heart when I laid my eyes on this Rebecca Taylor Nailhead Dress.

Over the course of the past few months, I’ve randomly asked a few sales representatives at various department stores as well as a few fashionistas whether they think the studded look is here to say, and they all had different responses. Despite some of the feedback I received, I have a little feeling Mr. Louboutin (in particular) will keep ’em around for a few more seasons to come (at least in the world of shoes and hand bags). And as most of us know, he tends to have an influence on the future of the fashion industry. Right? But who knows, I could be way off on this one! For now, though, I’m pretty sure it’s a safe bet to keep on sporting your studded ensembles. What do you think of this dress? I just got this NARS red lizard lipstick and have been loving it so far this season. Thoughts?

Hope you all have an AWESOME weekend, as always! Don’t forget to enter the ByLangley giveaway, if you’re a fan of nighties and cute little bralette sets 🙂
