It’s here! The spring Sephora Savings Event is one of my favorite times to stock up on all of my beauty essentials. Sephora very rarely offers discounts, and it’s even rarer for them to discount popular brands like Oribe and Giorgio Armani.
I get a lot of questions about the sale every time it happens so I thought it might be helpful for me to put together a post with some more info. Since it’s a tiered sale, it can totally get confusing. But I’ll try to break it down so it’s a bit easier to understand!

Sephora Savings Event
What is the sephora savings event?
Twice a year, Sephora has a tiered sale for its beauty insiders (once in the spring and once in the fall). The first 4 days are reserved exclusively for Rouge members, then VIBs and Insiders (more on who qualifies for which tier below) can shop the sale for the next 6 days. The Sephora Collection is discounted for the entire 10 days of the sale.
who can shop the sale?
+ Rouge members can enjoy 20% off starting April 14. A Rouge member is anyone who is signed up to be an Insider member and who spends $1,000 per year at Sephora.
+ VIB members get 15% off starting April 18. A VIB member is an Insider who spends $350 per year at Sephora.
+ Insiders get 10% off beginning April 18 — no previous purchase is required. You can sign up here to become an Insider.
does sephora do 20% off regularly?
Sephora has two Sephora Saving Events throughout the year: one in the spring and one in the fall. If you’re a Rouge member, you can get 20% off during those sales. For the last few years, they’ve also offered an event in December for all Insiders (regardless of tier).
is it worth it to become a sephora insider?
This kind of depends on how much you shop for beauty products. For me, it’s totally worth it. I place an order at Sephora at least once a month for new products that I want to try and share with y’all. It’s pretty easy for me to get points, then I use the savings events to get my favorite things on sale. There’s really not much to lose from becoming a rewards member IMO!
what’s on sale during the sephora savings event?
The short answer is everything. There are some exclusions (you can see those here), but anything I’ve ever wanted to shop for during the sale has always been discounted, so it’s really not hard to find the things you want at a discounted price!
