Cabo Hotel Review: Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa

As you probably saw on my Instagram or Snapchat, I just got back from an amazing girl’s trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I actually went with my new roomies, so it was even more fun as a kick-off to our new chapter together! Have y’all been to Cabo? I love Mexico in general, but Cabo specifically might be my favorite of what I’ve experienced thus far – it’s just so easy (direct flight), fun (!), and not to mention that it’s freakin’ gorgeous.

We stayed at The Towers at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort and absolutely LOVED it. I wish we could have stayed longer (I think we all did), but I do however feel like I got a pretty good idea of the property during the 3 nights + 4 days we spent there. So as promised (and like I always to do when traveling to new spots), I’m going to do a full review of the hotel for y’all in case you were considering visiting in the future.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort

Okay so about the resort in general – I kid you not when I say that we legit felt like absolute QUEENS. To give you an idea of the geographical location of where Pueblo Bonito (PB) Pacifica is located, it’s on the west side of Cabo – aka on the Pacific ocean, which means that it’s not right in town or on the Gulf of Mexico like a lot of Cabo hotels. I personally loved this because we weren’t too far away from anything – felt like just the right spot if you ask me.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort

The Towers is a newly-constructed part of the property and it’s absolutely insane. It serves as a “resort-within-a-resort” concept and you have your own dining areas, part of the hotel, etc. The Pacifica also has rooms that aren’t part of The Towers, but if you’re looking for an extra-luxurious vacay (or want to be super lazy, like we did, oops…), I definitely recommend The Towers. The entire property is beyond gorgeous!

Check In Experience + Rooms

We arrived to champagne and the most beautiful suite in The Towers. Views of the ocean, the pool, the beach, just crazy pretty, all from our own personal terrace. Incredible beds – obviously a huge concern when traveling…and these did not disappoint. And let’s talk about the bathroom. Does anyone else LOVE a good bathroom at a resort? Am I weird? I’m just a sucker for a beautiful bath tub, shower, etc. – don’t judge.

Service + VIP Butler (OMG YES!)

We had our own personal butler, Manual (he was the BOMB – we were all buddies – see? lulz), who was the biggest sweetheart! Each suite in The Towers comes with a personal butler, which is such an over-the-top but appreciated amenity. The service in general at the hotel was on point. It’s an all-inclusive resort which sometimes equals slow service, but Pacifica prides themselves on being legit – and they were.

Activities & Such: The Hook & Cook Experience + More

We got to do a ‘hook & cook’ experience on our first night there. Have y’all done this before?? So fun. Basically they let you fish for your meal and then a private chef cooks the fish right on the beach for you! Obviously the fish was super fresh and delicious. We laughed so hard fishing, too.

We barely caught any fish (ha!), but it’s okay – we were still able to eat some FRESH and AMAZE ceviche! You guys, it was out of this world amaze.

Some other things we loved about the hotel was the morning yoga on the beach during sunset (so relaxing!) and the multiple onsite restaurants – so we could eat by the pool if we wanted to be casual, at a nicer restaurant when we were trying – note, trying – to be fancy, etc. There are also a few bars and even a little sports bar area. Basically, you don’t need to leave this resort to have an incredible vacation.

Access to Other Pueblo Bonito Resorts

So going back to the PB Pacifica being a “resort within a resort,” Pueblo Bonito has multiple hotels all throughout the Cabo coast and Pacifica is the newest construction (and the most luxurious!). It’s definitely the nicest of them all, in my opinion, and they really promote it as a tranquil spa destination – which it totally is! I will note that it’s not kid friendly, so it’s definitely more for adult relaxation and a get-away, but I gotta be honest, that aspect was really nice. Even though we acted like kids the whole time LOL.

They provide free shuttles to all other Pueblo Bonito locations, so if you want to head into town and get wild for the day, you totally can. Between all of their hotels, there’s access to an additional 23 restaurants and 12 bars at sister resorts, too! While there, we visited the “Sky Pool” at one of the nearby sister resorts. Did you see my snaps from the sky pool? It was LEGIT. And the music was bumpin’ slash the overall vibe is just REALLY fun – a little different than the relaxed vibes at the Pacifica pool. So it was nice to switch things up for an afternoon!

Other Fun & Relaxing Things To Do

There’s also a mixologist and tequila tasting on the Pacifica property, which is obviously a must while in Mexico. And if you want any sort of spa service, they have a really pretty spa with amazing reviews. There’s a nearby golf course and tennis course on the property too if you want to get sporty!

Lastly, let’s discuss the pool situation since we spent so much time there. I actually hate/stress when you go to a resort and feel like you have to be up at 6 a.m. to go snag a chair by the pool, but Pacifica was different. There were PLENTY of chairs, and there are even two separate pools – which are basically on the beach, btw – and tons of room to lounge. It was so nice waking up slowly, grabbing breakfast on the property, then heading down to the pool when we were ready.

They come to YOU if you’re laying out – to ask for your drink order (umm YES please!). But there’s also and fun (and comfy!) bar area to the right of me up there. And a HUGE hot tub y’all! YESSSS.

We hung out in a cabana on the beach one day which was soo fun (there was always one open for us)! The staff brings all your food and drinks right out to you, so it was definitely our princess moment. So nice!

I’m hoping to be back at the Pacific and Towers real freakin’ soon! If you’re visiting Mexico anytime soon, I highly suggest staying here. You can thank me later, ha! (Or invite me….)
