Y’all know I try to throw in some business casual or office outfits here and there – even though I don’t work in a normal office setting (anymore). But I know the struggles of dressing for an office and that lots of you do too! So in today’s installment of business casual, I wanted to make things not only work appropriate, but holiday appropriate, too. Because helloooo, holiday happy hours!
I kinda love how this look came out, if I do say so myself. It’s chic, comfortable, on-trend, and pretty fun – even though it’s totally suitable for an office environment. The entire look is actually from Vince Camuto, so if you thought they only made really cute shoes, y’all are in for a treat. Because they do a lot more! They actually have a great holiday selection, and I’ve bought a few holiday looks from them so far. But I think my favorite part of the outfit are the heels from the newly launched Imagine Vince Camuto Red Carpet Collection. Aren’t they pretty?!
First up, I love the idea of culottes for work and play, don’t you? And HELLO comfort. They’re kinda your transitional item and can pretty much work with anything. From a sweater to a sassier blouse like I have on here (and can we talk about this choker neck situation? in love!). The color of this blouse is one of my favorites for winter and this season in general – it’s kinda a winter white, which is really pretty, right? Since the outfit is black and white, you can have fun with accessories and add in a pop of color there if you’d like. You can also easily swap in “work” shoes and jewelry for “party” ones, but the majority of this look can stay the same. Easy peasy!
So, would y’all wear this from office to out or to a holiday party? Cuz I sure would (obviously)! I’m actually repeating this for a friend’s holiday party in a couple weeks, so just pretend you haven’t seen this look when I wear it again. K? Thx!
