Happy Monday y’all! I just landed in Aspen, Colorado for the week and am SO excited to spend some time with my family! But first, let’s recap the last week or so of outfits. I realized I haven’t been posting as many OOTDs – I need to GET ON that! I think it’s because I spent the week I got home from Milan getting back into routine. And then last week, I spent a lot of time working on content planning and strategy – and wasn’t really creating content. But I’m hoping to get a lot of content for y’all while I’m here in Aspen! I’ve got my Dad here and he’s gotten REALLY good at that iPhone! hehe – he’s literally THE BEST ever!
I mentioned back at the beginning of the season that I was excited about the plaid blazer trend, but I had no idea it was going to take over the fashion world like it has! It’s been everywhere and I am totally in love. I found this one at Mango – while on my recent trip to Milan – and absolutely love the cut, longer-length, and colors within the pattern. It’s a great one if you’re on the hunt!
I paired it with my high-waisted jeans from forever ago (sold out), but I found a similar pair if you’re interested in the look here! Also, I just purchased these too (no rips in them though and lighter wash) and I’m obsessed with how they look on and the fit is great as well!
And here’s a better look at the shirt underneath – I love it for work and play!
Outfit Details: Structured Plaid Blazer // Trouve Surplice Blouse (wearing size XS) // Levi’s Wedgie Jeans (my exact pair are actually old from Urban Outfitters – I found a similar pair though for this season that I actually purchased for myself!) // Ray-Ban Icon Sunglasses // Gucci Slides
It isn’t officially Fall until you get yourself some pumpkins huh?! I picked up a few for our front porch last week and was loving all the Fall-ish vibes! I also did an entire blog post on why you need this sweater (it’s $45!) and styled it 3 different ways!
Outfit Details: BP. V-neck Sweater ($45 – I’m wearing size XS) // COH Rocket Black Jeans (TTS, love how these are high-waisted) // BP. Booties (my exact ones are old but the ones I linked are super similar that are an amazing price!)
Can you tell I love this tank? I’ve been wearing it so much the past 2 weeks! It’s been perfect for the random weather in Dallas and for layering 🙂
Outfit Details: Lush Camisole ($29! wearing size XS) // Leith Cardigan (sold out, similar HERE) // Levi’s 721 Jeans (fit high-waisted, TTS) // Nadri ‘Geo’ Small Round Necklace (wear this one all the time!) // Issaleh Necklace (LOVE this one!)
Wore this little number to church last weekend. I’d probably only recommend it if you’re a little on the shorter side like me (I’m 5’4″) but if that’s the case for you, I think it’s adorable and perfect for this transitional weather we’re having right now!
Outfit details: Topshop Polka Dot Ruffle Dress (wearing size US2 – I would size up because it doesn’t have much stretch) // Stuart Weitzman Low Heel (I always size DOWN 1/2 size in SW shoes) // Delphi Moon Necklace // Gucci Marmont Bag
Getting some good work done at one of my favorite little coffee (and brunch/lunch) spots in Dallas, Ascension. I did lots of brain-dumping last Sunday because I’ve had so many things on my mind lately.
Outfit Details: BP. Strappy Swing Dress (under $50! So comfy and this one is actually lined!)// BP. Rib Trim Crdigan (been wearing this one repeat! It’s under $50!) // Sole Society Booties (my exact ones are from last season Sam Edelman) // Sonix Parker Sunglasses
If you missed it, last Monday I wrote a pretty honest blog post on how to beat the comparison game with social media. I struggle with this a lot – sometimes even on a daily basis. I also included some photos where things weren’t necessarily as they seemed and told y’all what was really going on – it was fun to do! If you haven’t read the post yet, you should give it a read (I think you might enjoy!)
Outfit Details: Lush Camisole ($29 – I got in the blue color too! Love it) // Lush Chenille Cardigan (sadly this cardigan is sold out in this color but they’ve still got 2 other really pretty colors available!)
Love the neckline and colors in this Madewell Stripe Mock Neck Sweater that I wore in Florence. And I actually wore it in Dallas 2x but didn’t get a chance to snap an OOTD!
This sweater has been such an easy throw on for me the past 2 weeks while in Dallas! It’s sweatshirt material – super comfortable – and fits a little bit cropped so it’s perfect for high-waisted jeans.
Outfit Details: J.O.A. Ruffle Sleeve Top (wearing size XS – runs a little oversized-ish) // Gucci Marmont Handbag // J Brand High Waisted Jeans // Zara kitten heels
I’ve been loving all the mock neck necklines for sweaters I’ve been seeing this season! This one is $39 and comes in 4 colors! Such a no-brainer if you ask me! I’m wearing size XS.
Outfit Details: BP. Dolman Sleeve Sweater ($39! Wearing size XS) // Levi’s Wedgie Jeans (I found they run TTS – wearing size 25) // Ray-Ban Highstreet Sunglasses
I mentioned on instagram that I went on a walk Friday morning and listened to a podcast – which is my favorite way to clear my mind when I’m stressed or just need a little lift to my spirits. I shared the link to the one I listened to on facebook – I’d love to have you join the facebook family if you haven’t already!
Outfit Details: Koral Ghost Bra // Zella High Waist Legging // Nike Lunar Running Shoe
Outfit Details: BP. Chenille Neck Sweater // Levi’s Jeans // Adidas Superstar Sneakers
Y’all. I am majorly crushing on this cardigan sweater and I was sad to see that it was selling out so fast – so I HAD to share ASAP with y’all! How cute?! I’m loving how “Grandpaw sweaters” are a legit trend this fall. I like how they fit a little oversized! I especially like pairing them with high-waisted jeans because I like how they’re a little longer and create some “levels” to your outfit if that makes sense?
I just got these jeans ($69!) and LOVE LOVE how they fit. They were such a great find and fun true to size. For reference, I’m wearing size 25 and am 5’4″ and they fit perfectly cropped on me (#score – usually I’d have to get them altered!)
Outfit Details: Lush Camisole ($29 – wearing size XS) // Leith Cardigan Sweater (runs a little big, wearing size XS) // Gucci Marmont Handbag // Stuart Weitzman Burgundy Kitten Heels (wearing size 36.5 – LOVE THEM SO MUCH) // BDG Kick flare jeans ($69 – free shipping after $50 so you’re good!)
Packing Outfit Details from Instagram Stories
Last night I was packing for Aspen and shared a few things I’m bringing with me. I obviously don’t have good photos of the outfits yet, but if you were watching, I’ll list out the things I mentioned below:
Lace Top Outfit – (Line & Dot Maura Top) – I mentioned that I loved the high-neckline victorian detail. I got size XS and had them on in my stories with these jeans and my new Dior sling back slides (not available anywhere online but here’s a fun dupe by Sam Edelman I found while looking!)
Orange-y slash tan-colored (maybe? haha) cardigan for $70 that I was wearing with my V-neck Monrow tee, black Madewell high-wasited faded black jeans and Gucci slides
White booties Outfit (wearing size 7 in these) – these are actually the Steve Madden ones and I like them a lot. I really wanted the Dolce Vita ones but they’re sold out in my size at the time (they just restocked though I see!). I actually really like how the SM ones look and they looked cute with the outfit I put together last night (or at least I thought so!). I was wearing this grey sweater (in size US2), these jeans (fit TTS) and this slouchy corduroy moto jacket I just picked up yesterday!
Leather Skirt Outfit – And then I put together an outfit with a leather skirt and black kitten heel sock booties. These booties are the SW ones which are an investment (and worth it in my opinion); I’ve been eyeing them for almost 2 months now and finally pulled the trigger! The leather skirt is OLD by THEORY, but here’s a cute alternative by Topshop for $45 and another one by Madewell for $198. I also have the Missguided one ($44) I wore in this blog post if you want to see what it looks like on and in an outfit (the photo on the website is pretty bad!). I was wearing the booties and skirt with this chunky black sweater (size US2) for those asking!
