If y’all follow me on Insta, you know I’ve been falling HARD for lilac so far this year. I mean, it’s just such a refreshing change of color from what we’ve seen the past few seasons. And I find it to be flattering and feminine but like pink’s cooler, chiller sister you know? Lulz… seriously though! I actually didn’t know that the official Pantone color of the year was something similar (ultra violet, whatever that means), until you guys pointed it out on Stories after I shared how much I loved lilac. Turns out it’s actually a thing!

I can not wait to share more lilac pieces with y’all since it’s pretty much taking over my closet at this point. Tons of stores are pushing the color too, and I have a feeling this will be sticking around through spring and summer – and then some. Also, can we talk about this leather lilac skirt real quick (in today’s outfit)? It’s not a combo I’d usually go for (leather and lilac don’t sound like the best combo), but y’all, I’m OBSESSED. Again, it’s a cool piece without trying too hard and is just sassy and FUN. Since the skirt is the statement piece, I kept it simple on top with a tie-top (another trend I’m all about right now) – and ended up really into this outfit.
