Leather, more leather and “pleather”. It’s everywhere these days. I was a little skeptical about it at first, but I’ve since softened up to the idea. And I never thought I’d say this, but I’m ALL FOR the “pleather”. Because I don’t know about you, but I’m not really down to spend $900+ on a pair of pants that I can only wear for a few shorts months out of the year.
But I will say that owning a leather jacket is another story. Even still, though, I think my limit/max amount would be around $350-$400. So this is why I’ve resorted to doing the-whole-leather-thing via accents and details. Because not only is it (and realistic) that way, but it’s also less “trendy” and out there. Hence, these pieces will hopefully prevail as the fad fades and I can still look lady-like and feminine while taking part in the leather trend party.
