With fall just around the corner (yay for cooler temps!), I got inspired to create a fun and unique tablescape that’s inviting + cozy. My vision this year was inspired by organic and earth-toned looks. I love the idea of incorporating different textures like stone, ceramics, and woods to create visual interest.
I just love the feeling of a “well dressed” table. To me it says, “I thought of you before you were here. Come sit and enjoy!” Maybe it’s the idea of appetizers + shareables that were prepped ahead of time or a fresh flower arrangement that just seems thoughtful and inviting.
I noticed many designers incorporating different layers and even muted patterns which creates a nice balance to the clean + modern lines. Mixing the old and new makes for a really unique and timeless look. Here are some of the inspiration images that have helped me capture the vision of what I wanted to create!

I think this one (above) is technically a wedding table setting, but I loved the colors and found it kind of inspiring. Now I want to find some terracotta-colored plates! I love it paired with the black and think it would look good on my white oak table!

I’ve gathered some decor pieces for y’all so you can create your own tablescape! A lot of these pieces can easy to transition to other areas of your home and into other seasons…totally multifunctional. I wanted to keep it bright yet warm! The dark accents and jewel tones really seem to ground the room and for me, they tie into the rest of my home decor. If you haven’t seen our kitchen transformation, check it out here!
