Let’s talk about how to wear a long vest. I’ve been seeing these things around lately and I’m slowly but surely starting to become a HUGE fan. This one, like many of the other I’ve seen, has a waterfall front, which I really like because it gives my outfit a more laid back, chic look (even if I were to wear my sassiest stilettos – it would still look laid back and have that I-did-try-that-hard-but-still-look-awesome vibe)
All in all, I’m all about this long sweater vest. It’s comfy and chic and easy…and cute with casual flats or booties. I’ve also seen the full-sleeved long cardigans and I love those as well. They definitely add a proportion contrast to any look. And don’t say you’re too short because I’m only 5′ 2″ and (with a little help with my heeled booties), it looks just fine! Right?
I want to mention this tunic I’m wearing. Y’all, it’s SO soft. It’s like a jersey-ish material and it feels SO good. And I like the little mock cowl neck that it’s got going on – it’s interesting and different than your typical black tee.
And these KS stud earrings are great, especially this time of year for gifting. They’re under $50 and such a GREAT staple – I wear mine ALL the time. I’d suggest getting black or white – you can’t go wrong with those classic (everyday) colors!
