Hello friends! I’m back again today with the third and final way I’ve styled this simple striped tee this week! We started out this week with a classic yet stylish sleeveless trench that you could wear to the office, then talked about Parisian style (pairing the tee with a midi skirt), and lastly today I’m styling it with a silk neck tie and boyfriend jeans. I’ve had so much fun this week sharing these three looks and if y’all like this idea – of styling one key piece three ways – let me know and I’m happy to do more of it!

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve had Paris on my mind lately or if it’s making an actual comeback, but I’ve been ALL about the silk necktie lately. I LOVE it and have actually been on the hunt for another great silk scarf to add to my ever-so-tiny collection of two (ha!). My godmother has been rockin’ them for as long as I can remember actually. She literally has over 50 beautiful silk scarves and wears them in so many cool, chic ways. And actually, when I was putting this look together, I Facetimed her and made sure I was tying it correctly! So aunt Kelly, thanks for that! 😉

So back to this look. I paired my striped tee with boyfriend jeans and pumps to mix things up a big. I love wearing 3/4 sleeve (tighter-ish) tops with boyfriend jeans to juxtapose the laid back fit of the denim something a little more refined – then I added to blazer to dress it up even more. I think it looked great with just that combo, but since I had initially planned this outfit for Paris, I wanted to add a touch of red to the outfit for some true Parisian vibes! And plus, I always love to add a little color at any chance I get. The only thing I could think of was to either add a fun handbag, red lips or a scarf and I went with a silk scarf. I tried it around my head, but wasn’t too crazy about how that turned out, so then I tried it around my neck and totally dug it.

What do you think?? Have you ever tried the neck-tie look? Do you like?!
