If you’ve been following along on Instagram and Insta stories, then you know that I was in St. Thomas last week. Wala Swim – one of my favorite swimwear websites – sent me and Olivia (of OliviaRink.com) and a photographer (who just so happens to be my friend John!) to St. Thomas for a week to shoot content. We stayed at The Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resport and it was great.  The first two days were a little cloudy, but it was sunny the rest of the time and we loved every minute of it.

I’d never been to St. Thomas so I was super excited to check it out and would DEFINITELY go back! In fact, I actually can’t wait to go back because I got so many amazing recommendations from y’all and I didn’t really have a chance to check out all the spots y’all suggested! Plus we didn’t get a chance to visit the other islands – so I want to do that at some point!

I wore this easy Ruffle Sleeve Tee to travel there and it was the perfect casual, throw-on for being on the go. I carried on my new favorite cardigan (and packed a pair of socks since I always get cold!) – perfect comfy traveling outfit in my opinion.

We did a lot of exploring the first day we were there. We went on a guided tour of the entire island with one of the locals and learned all about the history and visited a few hot spots in the area. Our tour guide took us to a few lookouts that had great views of St. Thomas as a whole and surrounding islands too.

The beach and property around the resort were gorgeous! We couldn’t get enough of all the palm trees, flowers, and rocks on the water! So amazing!

We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we’ve were working so much and thought the food was great and fresh. John was the more adventurous one as far as ordering goes – and Liv and I stuck to burgers, french fries, and shrimp cocktails (ha!).

Loved the color and fit of this swimsuit – something about it was SO flattering! The bottoms cut a little bit into my hips but I don’t think I’d order a size up because they’re not adjustable. I got size 6 for both top and bottoms for sizing reference.

I feel like I posted this swimsuit the most because it was so easy to style and the fit is SO flattering! I wore it two days while there, styling it with different necklaces to make different looks 🙂 It’s such a great suit!

I’ve been wearing this top on repeat lately if you can’t tell. I wore it in this post from last week in white too – it’s such a great one! And the material is SO SOFT! I can’t believe the price though – it’s amazing quality for $39. I’d recommend getting it in a few colors!
