5 Fall Recipe Ideas On My List

With baby No. 2 right around the corner, I have a feeling we’re going to be spending a lot more time at home in the months ahead. I remember after Four was born, we spent a lot of nights on the couch watching our favorite shows and trying to decompress from the day. I fully expect that with a toddler added into the mix, we’ll be even more exhausted.

So I’ve been thinking through some recipe ideas that we can make while we’re home. I definitely need easy recipes, but I want them to taste good too! Fortunately, I found a handful of recipes that seem both simple and delicious.

I love sharing recipes with y’all any time I save them, so here you go! Here are 5 fall recipe ideas currently on my list.

Creamy Goat Cheese Pasta

The Defined Dish

There’s something so incredibly comforting about a pasta dish. I love that this recipe included creamy goat cheese and asparagus. It feels equal parts decadent and somewhat healthy. Pasta dishes are always a must during the week because they can be ready in literally minutes.

Sloppy Joes

Skinny Taste

Is there anything more nostalgic than sloppy joes? Whether they remind you of summer camp or weeknight dinners growing up, most everyone has a soft spot for this tasty dish. I found this recipe for the “healthy adult version,” and now I can’t stop thinking about them. We will definitely be making these!

Chili Stuffed Peppers

Ahead of Thyme

I’m a SUCKER for stuffed peppers. Ever since I was a kid, they’ve been one of my favorite meals. They’re super filling because you get so much protein with the beef, plus you don’t have to feel weighed down afterwards. I also just love how colorful and cheesy they are!

Vegetable Beef Soup

Insanely Good Recipes

Soup and the fall are seriously the perfect combo. I honestly love it year-round, but during the cold weather months, nothing tastes better. One of my favorite soups is vegetable beef. The beef makes it super hearty, but it’s light enough you’ll be back for seconds.

Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie

A Spicy Perspective

Few things say comfort food like a chicken pot pie. And few things say newborn baby like the crock pot. When you combine the two, you’ve got an easy hands-free crock pot dish that tastes like heaven. The best part? The flakey biscuit on the top.
