I’m sure you’ve heard by now about Pantone’s color of the year: emerald green. The color authorities over at Pantone describe this year’s hue as  “Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.”  I’m partial to the darker, richer shades of emerald green and prefer the hue in the form of lush velvet, jewels, or a print mix (like that Rebecca Taylor Python Dress).  How glamorous is that velvet headboard from the Grand Hotel in Oslo, Norway? I love it paired with the green trellis wall paper – what a perfectly balanced match. What do you think about this year’s color? If anything, it’s strikingly different than last year’s tangerine tango.
