Denver Living Room Photo Tour

Hi friends!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing these photos of our completed living room – this has been a long time coming! We are so pleased with the way it turned out. I shared a little bit about my vision for the space back in this blog post (that I published a YEAR ago – wow!) and it’s so neat to see it all come together and be DONE.

Seating // Sofa & Chairs:

For this room, I knew I wanted all neutral colors and to purchase pieces that would easily transition with us beyond this home. I knew I’d be able to add color and switch things up with pillows and/or decor, so I went with off whites for our sofas and chairs. I also wanted the room to feel “finished” but also not look too fancy. In other words, I wanted it to be very inviting and comfortable, yet still feel put together if that makes sense?

My last living room was pretty fancy-feeling and after living with that for a couple years, I knew I wanted something more approachable – it just didn’t feel like me! I realized that I really loved looking at houses and home decor that had more traditional style but that I wanted something more relaxed for my home. I love how it turned out!

Sofas: Custom via Bridgid (similar here and less expensive version via Pottery Barn here)

Accent Chairs: Noir Allister Chair  (similar from Target here)

Pillows & Throws:

Most of the pillows, decor and throws were purchased from local or vintage shops, so I’m not able to find exact links. But I did my best to find similar options.

Throw on back of sofa: vintage (but almost exact here and similar here)

Olive Green Throw: from a local shop, similar here

Cream Throw: CB2 chunky knit throw

The Coffee Table

I’d had my heart set on a wooden coffee table for months and ultimately landed on this one from Restoration Hardware. It was a bit of an investment, but I LOVE it and feel like it really warms up the room. Although, honestly, I have no idea how I will make this table toddler safe since it has the sharp corners – I’ll figure that out when the time comes though!

At first, I wasn’t sure if I loved the stain (I was worried it was too yellow or light), but over time it really grew on me. I love how the wood warms up the room.
