The rule about wearing white after Labor Day is LONG GONE. But you already knew that, right?! It’s totally a thing of the past. And in fact, I think winter white is probably one of my favorite looks to style during the colder months. Something about it is just so classic and – when styled well – sophisticated.
An all white winter outfit is such a classic look and can easily be pulled together with the right items. But I’ll admit, there is a bit of *thought* or intentionality that goes into putting one together that looks “right” if that makes sense? Like, at least for me, I can’t just throw together any cream or white-colored pieces and expect it to look right. I’ve found that cream/white hues – albeit neutral – can still have a little bit of yellow or green in them that can really show when put next to a stark white or even another white that has a different base color. But the biggest piece of advice I’d give to pull of a winter white outfit is to utilize texture. Because if you are pairing whites that are different shades, adding texture will help pull everything together. Mixing textures helps break up the outfit.
And my last piece of advice is to keep your accessories in the same color family as well. see I have pulled warm tan items? You can go that route OR style cool toned boots/heels and a grey bag. So cute! To give y’all a little help in the winter white department, I have pulled together a bunch of my favorite pieces plus accessories to bring your look together. And then I linked my outfit at the bottom of the post. I hope this look and these pieces inspire you to put together one of your own! And if you do, please send to me via DM on instagram! Happy Wednesday friends!
