4 Dresses to Grab For This Summer

I shared these dresses on IG yesterday, but they’re so good I thought they also deserved a spot on the blog. When I think about the “perfect summer dress,” these dresses are what come to mind. They’re lightweight and feminine, and the detailing is *chef’s kiss.*

It’s been so hot here in Texas the past couple of weeks (the “real feel” temp was 125 a couple of days ago… WHAT!?) that I’m practically living in dresses because they’re a cooler option than jeans and even some shorts and tops.

I love how classic the dresses from Hill House Home are. I mean how cute is this red and white striped dress for the 4th of July?? I also love the print on this nap dress. Also, the embroidered detail on this J.Marie dress? So good. I need to go before I add all of these dresses to my cart. For sizing reference, I’m wearing an XS in everything!

The Two-Piece Set (top and bottom)

Okay so “technically” this isn’t a dress but let’s go with it. I didn’t expect to love this two-piece set as much as I did, but here we are. What I love most about these pieces is the flexibility. The skirt would be cute paired with a tee or a tank or even a tied chambray shirt. I also plan to style the top with shorts.

The Naia Nap Dress

Holy sleeve, this dress is perfect! I’d say after pockets, a good sleeve is about all you can ask for on a dress. I love this solid pink color – so fun for summer. This dress has a lightweight material that’s super comfy. Also, an important note: there’s a ton of stretch in this dress, including the sleeves, which is a MUST for me. And the length is perfect for me (I’m 5’3″).

The eyelet ellie nap dress

This is such a classic style. It’s honestly so pretty. I love the texture and the white eyelet detailing is perfect for summer. Plus, it’s literally called the nap dress because it’s so comfy. I’ll throw mine on after we’ve been at the pool and wear it around the house (and yes, I *have* napped in it lol).

This is actually my favorite dress of all. The details on this dress are INSANE. The scalloped edges and ruffled sleeves are honestly so good. Plus, there is a cute stitching around the chest that feels super fun and feminine. I like that this dress is a little longer so it’s perfect for “mom life.” Oh, and there’s a solid lining on the inside of the dress so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through at all. I will note that the top piece around your chest doesn’t have any stretch to it, which wasn’t an issue for me, but could be tough for girls with a larger chest.
