Alright, it’s officially that time of year when the word “transition” becomes THE buzzword, LOL. You’re probably starting to see it everywhere, but that’s only because, in the fashion world, it’s true! Anything I’m buying right now I want to be transitional so I thought it made sense to put together three looks for y’all that work in both chilly weather and for when it’s still a bit warm. Plus a lot of these pieces are mix and match so you really can’t go wrong!
Dress: Paige Sage Midi Dress (I’m wearing an XS) // Jacket: Madewell Jean Jacket in Pinter Wash (I’m wearing a size S. Madewell tends to run a little big on me, so I wear this Denim jacket more oversized – if you’re looking for TTS I would size down) // Booites: Marc Fisher LTD Oshay Pointed Toe Bootie (I’m wearing a size 6.5) // Face Mask: Veronica Beard Leopard Face Covering // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Icon 50mm //
I LOVE this look! This dress works for the beach in the summer but also for layering come the beginning of fall. And a good denim jacket is absolutely a must this time of year. You can layer it over dresses, pants and a blouse or even throw it on with joggers! If you don’t already own one, I highly recommend this one. The fit is perfect – not too tight, not too loose.
Sweater: AE Striped Cropped V-Neck Sweater (I’m wearing a size XS and it fits a little oversized) // Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch Vintage Stretch Hight Rise Mom Jeans (I’m wearing a size 25) // Booties: Vince Camuto Gradina Block Heel Bootie (I’m wearing a size 7) // Bag: Madewell Zip-Top Transport Crossbody // Face Mask: Kittenish Blush Cotton Face Mask // Necklace: Missoma Golden Arch Roman Coin Necklace // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Icon 50mm //
I’ve been really into big stripes and color blocking lately, so had to put together an outfit that includes a little bit of that. This sweater might be one of my favorites all fall and winter long. The price is great and it’s cut so it’s not overly fitted but also isn’t a box, which can be kind of hard to find I think! Goes perfectly with these mom jeans (a new budget-friendly fave!) and booties for a casual yet cute look.
Sweater: Abercrombie & Fitch Black Puff Sleeve Sweater (I’m wearing a size XS and fits TTS) // Skirt: Halogen Bias Cut A-Line Skirt (I’m wearing a size XS) // Booties: Marc Fisher LTD Oshay Pointed Toe Bootie (I’m wearing a size 6.5) // Necklace: Missoma Golden Arch Roman Coin Necklace //
Last, but not least, I wanted to give y’all something that could work for a date or the office (if you’re going into work right now). This midi skirt is everything and was such a great find at Nordstrom! To give it a little extra something I went with a puff sleeve sweater (one of my favorite fall trends right now), which really balances out the pattern of the skirt, don’t you think? So comfy but very polished and put together looking!
Which look is your fave?! They’re all pretty different but I think I’m partial to number one!
