If there’s one thing I’ve learned about myself over the past few years it’s how much of a homebody I am. Especially now that I have my own home, there’s kinda nothing I love more than a night at home…in my sweats, without makeup on, reading/journaling..and drinking wine. It’s officially my happy place! Funny enough, a lot of my friends are the same way – we joke that we’re grandmas and we’re not even 30 but whatevs, I freaking love being home.
As I’m trying my best to be a better cook and to just cook more in general (I was inspired by my mama at Thanksgiving), I thought I’d start sharing more recipes with y’all on here. One, so that it keeps me accountable to keep cooking and sharing, and two, because I know a lot of y’all are looking for easy recipes, too. Lisel and I have been trying a few recipes and the ones below were our favorites so far. SO GOOD Y’ALL! Perfect for cold nights – and these all make lots of leftovers which is great for week days ya know? I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
Recipe 1: Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup
As you can see from the pics, this is the ultimate cozy recipe. I’ve never thought of mixing tomato soup with anything but grilled cheese, but I love tortellini so this was a really yum combo.
Recipe 2: Slow Cooker Quinoa, Chicken, and Kale Soup
This one is super healthy so TBH I wasn’t excited about it lulz, but we were shocked with how good it was!
Recipe 3: Burrata Pizza Pie
OK and not so healthy, but perfect for a Friday night in or when having friends over. Sooo delish, and it’s pretty!
Now your turn – what recipes have you been making lately? Anything to add to my list? Please share!
