This post is pretty random, I know. But it’s an outfit I’ve had in my little archive of posts that I’ve been meaning to publish for a few weeks now. You see, since I work all day during the week (and usually don’t get home until the sun is well done and gone for the day), I typically shoot my outfit posts on the weekends – and will do a few at a time. I’d rather not do it that way, but it has been the only option for me and my schedule. I hope you don’t hold it against me!
Anyway, one thing I’ve been thinking about lately is how I wish (!) I could be more intentional with my blog posts. I always set my sights on actually “planning” out my upcoming posts, but when it comes down to it, I can’t seem to EVER get it together and make it happen. Life always gets in the way. And instead, I end up throwing stuff up on BTD that isn’t very well planned or put together. I never could have imagined, before starting my own blog, how much work actually goes into the crafting and publishing of each and every post – not to mention all the admin crap. Am I complaining? NO way jose! I’m simply saying that I’m well aware that I’ve got plenty of room for improvement. Maybe one day I’ll figure it all out; but for now, I think I kind of like how there’s no pressure to be 100% professional or perfect or well-thought-out when it comes to posting on BrightonTheDay. It’s a work in progress.
