When it comes to jewelry, I typically keep my pieces pretty classic. I pretty much wear the same necklace every day, and my bracelet collection consists of more traditional gold and beaded bracelets. But when it comes to earrings, it can be SO fun to go a little crazy from time to time — and these flamingo earrings are no exception.
I’ve been on a huge color kick lately (maybe you can tell by the yellow dress and orange shoes). I just think it’s so fun to add some colorful items during the spring months that I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to pull off. So when I spotted these flamingo drop earrings from Deepa Gurnani, I knew I had to add them to my spring collection.
Whenever I want to add a statement earring or other piece of jewelry, I always make sure I’m keeping everything else as simple as possible with no prints or crazy patterns. That way, the statement piece can truly be the star of the show.
Maybe my favorite thing about these earrings is the crazy detailing. These earrings are hand-embroidered with gorgeous glass beads. They are truly STUNNING up close. And they’re not heavy at alllll. I own several pairs of statement earrings that feel like they weigh my ear lobes down, but these are truly light as a feather (no pun intended lol).
If you’re looking to add something fun to your look, I can’t recommend these enough. I will be wearing these a lot this spring and summer for sure.
