A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to be more intentional about introducing and chatting about new (ish) and noteworthy fashion trends that have successfully made their way from the runway to the streets. I’ve also been challenging myself to try new things and embrace the trends and try to incorporate them (subtly) into my everyday wardrobe.

Yesterday I talked about the athleisure trend (which I LOVE!) and today I wanted to touch on the ubiquitous embroidery trend. If you haven’t noticed by now, it’s everywhere. I’m sure some of you are a little taken aback by it, but I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon, so let’s just try and embrace it. I felt a little bold getting these jeans, but I wanted to try out the trend! And I think pairing it with this GREAT-looking suede drape-front jacket tones the trendiness down a little bit. Don’t you? If the jeans are too much for you, I do want to say that this jacket is fabulous. I also have it in the brown-ish/mushroom color and it’s SO great to throw on over a tank when going out on chilly nights!

I just wanted to give y’all a heads up because I think the embroidery trend is going to show up in a REALLY BIG way this coming Spring and Summer, so you should definitely get used to seeing it around. If I had to bet, I’d say it’ll stay around for the upcoming Fall season too. I think the key is just to incorporate a little bit into your usual outfits and play with the trend a little bit – without going tpo crazy if you know what I mean? I thought these jeans were the perfect entry level item to get in on the trend!

What do you think? It’s okay if you’re not on board – I still want to hear form ya!
