A few weeks ago we celebrated sweet Blake turning one. The past year has gone by in a blur. But I can’t imagine our family without her. She truly completes us!
I saw this cute berry theme idea on Pinterest (of course) and loved it. As soon as I knew the theme, I reached out to Madeleine from Madeleine Creative. She’s helped us with several parties, including Four’s first birthday party and a holiday party a couple of years ago.
Madeleine takes all of the stress out of planning, ordering, and organizing everything. I basically let her know my vision and she brings it to life. She’s got great connections with local Dallas vendors too.
Since the party was in the morning, we catered breakfast burritos and other breakfast-y foods from Central Market (sooo good). And then, of course, we had two cakes (one for Blake and one for our guests) that I ordered from A Dose of Lilly. I’ve ordered cakes from her before and they always turn out great.
We also had a lot of kids at this party, so I needed something to entertain them. The weather has finally cooled off here in Dallas, so a bounce house ended up being perfect. This company has bounce houses you can rent that aren’t totally obnoxious. 😉
Madeline helped buy and arrange the flowers, which were such a nice touch. And then we did a few small berry-themed pieces like these adorable cocktail napkins and this photo banner.
Honestly, this was one of the smoothest parties we’ve ever had. Having Madeline was a huge luxury and help! And my family also helped me with the kiddos so we could get everything set up and ready to go on the big day. Teamwork, right?!
I hope this answered some of the questions I’ve been getting about her party. I linked everything below!
