I cannot believe it’s already September. This summer went by SO FAST. As much as I love summer, I’m so so excited for fall! I love everything about it: cozy sweaters, cooler mornings, fall foilage and all the fall Starbucks drinks. This month the family and I stayed home all month, which is rare for us. I cherished every moment. It was so nice to work on some home projects (my closet is almost done and I am SO EXCITED!). Duncan and I went on several date nights. I wrote a blog post on my favorite spots in the area. We cooked at home quite a bit. I tried several recipes from various cookbooks, but to be honest, our favorite recipes are from home chef – they are yummy, easy to make and usually pretty quick to whip up. I’ve been working on a new project behind the scenes for the last few years. Over the last month I’ve been doing a lot to get everything ready to go for the project and I can’t wait to share! I’ll be revealing the launch date soon, so keep an eye out. Personally, I’ve been trying to figure out how to best move forward with my vision. For those of you that missed it, I was diagnosed with keratoconus over a year ago. I recently had surgery to stop the vision loss progression. And this month I received my first set of contacts. It’s definitely been a transition – but I’m positive that it will all work out.
This month I shared some great pieces that will work for the rest of summer and a few pieces that will transition great into fall. This top is a great piece for now and this fall. And I have had these booties for several years now and still wear them all the time. A full list of the top sellers for this month is below.
