Are you a glass-is-half-full or glass-is-half-empty kind of person? As much as I wish I could be the former, I must admit that I most often see the world from the perspective of the latter. For those of us who are more on the pessimistic side of the spectrum, we tend to be our own harshest critic. It’s important to surround ourselves with people who encourage us and who can point out the positives that give us the fuel and energy to keep going. Who or what is your biggest supporter/encouragement in your life?
I relate most to the last image because I’m the kind of person who always wants immediate gratification. Patience is a big struggle of mine. I absolutely love writing and maintaining this blog, but I can’t help but be eager for it to grow. Maybe it’s silly of me to think this, but I feel like if the blog gains more exposure and garners a larger following, then it’ll have more credibility. And then maybe I won’t have to ask myself, “am I waisting my time?”, “is this blog worth it?” because it does consume a good bit of time….
