2022 Gift Guides: For the Littles

One of my favorite things about being a parent is finding fun toys for my child. I probably enjoy it more than I should if I’m being honest. I’ve always loved looking at toys for Four, but I’m even more excited to relive my own childhood through Blake.

When it comes to toys, I’ve always been about quality over quantity. I never thought I’d be the mom who would let toys take over her house and so far, I’ve stuck to that. We have a dedicated playroom where all of Four’s toys stay so there isn’t constant clutter throughout the house.

Even still, I try to steer clear of cheap plastic toys and choose toys that I know will enrich him. I’m super intentional about what I buy. So I wanted to share some of my favorite toys I’ve gotten Four and a few things I’m planning to get this year.

I decided to include both the gift guide for babies and toddlers in this same post so you don’t have to do too much digging! I also made sure to include gifts for the kiddos and gifts that I use myself that are helpful for both age ranges.

When Four was a baby, he was obsessed with his Sophie the Giraffe. This is one of the most popular baby teethers around and I love that it is sort of a combo of a toy and a teether.

This Take Along Tunes musical toy was one of the most surprising things Four enjoyed while he was younger. But once I bought it for him, I started seeing it EVERYWHERE with friends who also have little ones around his age. I seriously consider it a hidden gem — plus it’s only $10!

Now that he’s older, he can’t get enough of this Gas N Go lawn mower. Every time we go outside, he wants to play with it. I also love that it encourages him to be outdoors!

I’m also a big fan of the pop-up ball pit. I was super picky about putting one of these in our house but Crate & Barrel had the cutest option that comes in several different colors. Highly recommend this to keep your kids busy for at least an hour at a time.

I’ll let you look through the rest of the gift guide now, but hopefully, there are plenty of ideas for your kids no matter what age they are. Don’t forget to scroll down for even more ideas!
