Over the past 5 years, I’ve tried so many denim shorts. There are two that I come back to time and again. They are mom-approved, comfortable, and cute. Here’s a look at my two favorite denim shorts for 2024.
AGOLDE Parker Shorts
If you’re new around here, there’s one thing you should know about me: I’m an absolute AGOLDE Parker Denim Shorts stan. This isn’t a new develop. I’ve been wearing them for as long as I can remember. By this point, I think I’ve got them in every style and color available.

The Parker long shorts are are my current favorite because they’re super high-waisted with a longer inseam. On top of that, they’ve got buttons all the way up, which isn’t my favorite thing when I have to go to the bathroom. But overall, I give these shorts a 10/10 because they’re super flattering and easy to wear.
Abercrombie High Rise Dad Short
The other pair of denim shorts I find myself grabbing all of the time is the Abercrombie High Rise Dad Short. They’re also mom- (and dad I guess lol) approved. Like the AGOLDE shorts, these are high-waisted with a longer inseam. I think these have more stretch, so they’re extremely comfortable while also still flattering. Plus, these come at a better price point of $70 — and Abercrombie has sales all of the time.
