It’s football season, y’all! And since it’s now October and I went to UT-Austin, my mind always goes straight to thinking about the upcoming Texas vs. OU (Oklahoma) game. It’s always so much fun because everyone comes in town and I get to see people I haven’t seen in forever! If you’re not from Texas (or didn’t go to one of these schools), SORRY you’re probably not going to be able to get much use out of this post! Except honestly, a lot of these items would be cute just in general – but still!

If you’re anything like me you’ve been procrastinating on shopping for the perfect game-day pieces that will keep you looking festive (for the game re: colors) but also super cute, too. I always struggle with what to wear to a sporting event because I don’t want to buy something with the team name or logo that I won’t want to wear later on. Now, to be completely honest, there really aren’t that many games that I actually go to, but every year I do make it to the Texas vs. OU rivalry. And in all seriousness, I hardly ever make it to the game but just go to the state fair (right outside the game) to see everyone (ha!). It’s still just as fun though 🙂 I love all the festivities surrounded around the weekend and getting to see all my old college friends!

This year I put it on my calendar in advance so I could find something cute to wear because I usually end up throwing something together super last minute (and not loving it)! If you’re a Texas Longhorn or a Boomer Sooner, you’re in luck because this year’s fashion trends and colors have included a ton of burnt orange and crimson. I hope you find something that makes you feel confident while supporting your alma mater.
