Ever since NYFW last Fall (and other FW’s), it seems as if we’ve been exposed to (and maybe even slightly bombarded with) zillions of trends for the spring/summer 2013 season. And further, each is typically “advertised” by bloggers/reporters/etc. as the next HOT thing for the now present spring/summer 2013 Season (summary of trends by Vogue here and Glamour here). And I don’t know about you, but it’s a little much. And it’s sometimes hard to decipher which trends to weed out, and which to embrace. I mean, it seems as if there are always be too to count, much less be the next big thing. Right? So the question becomes, which ones will actually catch on – with everyone, beyond just fashionistas and fearless trendsters (no, this is not a word. but I’m using it). You know? So I’ve been taking mental notes over the past few months, doing my best to notice the strongest contesters in the running for the biggest and best spring/summer 2013 trends. And I’ll be presenting my synopsis, just in time for Spring, NEXT week (!) via a series of posts titled “TRENDING”. Each day next week, starting on Sunday, I’ll feature a different trend of the season. Get excited – I hope you like the series!
