Slouchy Beanie
You know, to be honest, I never really thought I’d be someone that would wear one of those slouchy beanie outfits you see the cool kids wearing around town (or mostly in magazines…). I don’t know what it is about beanies, but for some reason I always felt like I couldn’t pull them off. Is that weird? (slash has anyone else shared this fear with me?!) But I went for it this year and actually bought myself one in hopes of (fingers crossed!) pulled off the effortless look I’ve seen so many ladies wear so well. So here goes it – what do you think?! Did I make the cut?! :)
On another note, I know spring is practically here (or around the corner) and that we’re all super excited to start thinking about (and buying) all things bright and flowy, but YOU GUYS….it’s still freezing outside. Ok yeah, freezing might be a bit of an overstatement, but it’s barely February (we’re only 3 days in).
And from what I can remember (although I was out of town most of February 2015), Dallas practically froze over last year during this time. So I’m just reminding myself not to put my chunky sweaters and heavy coats away just yet – because winter is STILL here and coming and fully present. In other words, I should keep my space heater near and dear despite the sunny-and-75 past week we’ve had in Dallas.
So now I want to hear your thoughts, friends. Talk to me about beanies – do you wear them?! What’re your thoughts slash does anyone else feel like they’re kinda hard to pull off?
