I’ve been using the Zoe Twin Double Stroller for a minute now, and after I posted it as one of my 2023 game-changers, I got a lot of questions about my honest thoughts on it. So, I figured a full blog post reviewing the twin stroller was in order.
Let me first preface this by saying I don’t have a ton of experience with other strollers. I used the UPPABaby Vista 2 when it was just Four (you can read that review here), but obviously I needed something bigger that I could use to tote around both kids.
Since I bought the Zoe Twin Double Stroller, I also ordered the BOB Double Jogging Stroller to use for running (kind of) and long walks. I’ll share a comparison of the two in this post also.
So, without further adieu, here are my thoughts on the Zoe Twin Double Stroller, including what I love and what I’d change if I could.
My Review of the Zoe Twin Double Stroller
Why I Love the Zoe Double Stroller
Compact Design
The Zoe Twin Double Stroller is super compact, which makes navigating through tight spaces a breeze. To be honest, I was slightly hesitant about getting a double stroller because I thought it might be too much to manage. But for a double stroller, it’s surprisingly slim, so I find that it’s easy to maneuver in crowded places like malls and airports.
Lightweight Build
After doing some research, I discovered the Zoe Twin Double Stroller is actually lighter (it’s 17 pounds) than a lot of other double strollers — however, I’ve found that it’s still extremely durable. The lightweight construction makes it easy to lift and carry, which was a must on my list since I’m usually the one lugging it around by myself!
Car Seat Compatibility
We don’t need this anymore since both of my kids are getting older, but I loved that the Zoe Twin Double Stroller is car seat compatible. If you have a newborn, you can buy an adapter so you don’t have to wait until your little one is big enough to sit in the stroller.
Large Canopy
The large canopy on the Zoe Twin Double Stroller is a huge perk IMO. It protects my kids from the sun and keeps them cool when it’s warm outside.
A couple of other things that we haven’t necessarily used yet but I did like when researching strollers. The seats recline so if your kids are trying to nap, you can give them a comfy spot to lie down. Also, this stroller is Disney approved. So, if you’re planning to take it to the park, you should have no problem taking it in. (We haven’t tried this yet!)
What I Would Change about the Zoe Double Stroller
There isn’t a ton I would change about this stroller to be honest. I do think it would be better if there were some additional storage options. Adding larger storage compartments or extra pockets would just give you more room for things like diapers, snacks, toys, etc.
I’d also love to see the handlebar be adjustable. I do find it comfortable for me at 5’3″. But I could see someone who’s over 6’0″ might get annoyed with the height its at.
I also sometimes can’t tell if I’ve locked the stroller or not because the pedal brake is a bit wonky. But I’ve also had this issue with other strollers so I’m not sure it’s specific to the Zoe Twin Double Stroller.
Zoe Double Stroller vs BOB Double Jogging Stroller
Maneuverability
Both strollers are super easy to maneuver in my opinion. The Zoe Twin Double Stroller’s compact design makes it easy to move through buildings, stores, etc. In fact, one of the benefits they list on the website is that it can fit through a standard doorway even though it’s a side-by-side stroller. This is hugely convenient! On the other hand, the BOB Double Jogging Stroller is great in off-road terrain and would be perfect if you enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and jogging.
Versatility
The Zoe Twin Double Stroller is extremely versatile and can easily transition from everyday errands to travel adventures. The BOB Double Jogging Stroller is much more tailored for active lifestyles and is probably ideal if you plan to go jogging often or be out on rough terrain.
My Overall Thoughts about the Zoe Double Stroller
After using it ourselves for several months, I can say that The Zoe Twin Double Stroller is a great option. Not only is it lightweight and compact, but I love some of the smaller details. The oversized canopy and reclining seats are great! I know it’s definitely an investment at $529. But I think it’s worthwhile if you plan to tote around multiple kids for more six months or more.
