When I ordered these vegan leather cropped pants a couple of months ago, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to style them in a way that would be flattering for me. I’m fairly short at 5’4″ so I end up having to return a lot of clothing (specifically pants) that just won’t work on my body type. But I’m convinced these cropped straight pants are seriously amazing on everyone!
A lot of you know that Abercrombie is my ride-or-die when it comes to pants. I love that they offer short (and extra short) sizing in their pants — and the inseams are ACTUALLY petite. I’ve ordered petite sizes from a number of other brands that end up swallowing me and I have to get them tailored. I’ve never had to have any pants from Abercrombie adjusted, which is a huge selling point for me.
Okay back to these leather pants that I can’t get enough of. I’ve posted in my stories a few of the ways I’ve styled them, but they’re truly so versatile. I’ve worn these out to run errands with a tank, oversized cardigan, and sneakers (seen here) for a super casual look and styled them with a bodysuit, duster, and cute heeled mules (seen here) for something a bit more put together.
But maybe my favorite way I’ve styled them so far is pictured in this post. I am all about a simple look that feels timeless, and that’s exactly what this outfit is. This sweater is one of my favorite closet staples, and I knew it would add a more classic feel to these leather pants. I added my Jenni Kayne leopard print mules, Prada satchel, and a pair of oversized sunnies to make this look feel iconic yet on-trend.
I could also see these pants being worn with a black sweater and black loafers for a super chic monochromatic look. I’d love to hear how YOU would style these cropped leather pants in the comments!
