I can hardly even believe that I’m typing up a Thanksgiving post right now, but here we are! I always get a lot of questions about what to wear for the holiday, so I thought I’d try to give y’all ideas in advance. (And I’m like really proud of myself for planning ahead woo!)
Now, my family is somewhat casual – in that we don’t get SUPER fancy, though my dad does usually wear a nice jacket and sometimes my mama will wear a dress – but I keep things pretty comfy. After all, most of the day is spent cooking and hanging out, then being REAL full, so comfort is key for me here. As it always is, tbh.
You probably won’t even be surprised to hear that my “secret” to Thanksgiving style is good ol’ leggings. I live in them, and Turkey Day is no different y’all. After all, one of the best things about leggings is how transitional they are (slash comfy as heck). Each outfit below has leggings as the lead item, and I just played around with different styles to compliment them. I figured that no matter what your celebration is like, you’d be good with one of these. Hopefully!
