Lately I’ve been playing around with existing pieces in my wardrobe, trying to put together new and different looks without having to purchase new things. One thing I’ve been having fun with is mixing prints and I fell in love with this herringbone vest and plaid print combo the moment I tried it on. I know the vest is one of those things you see everywhere, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t cute – right? In fact, I think that means that everyone COULD agree that it is in fact adorable and a staple item…(hehe #justification)
Regardless, I’m going to put my weight behind the ubiquitous herringbone puffer vest because it really is a basic item that could be styled multiple ways. Hopefully, over the course of time, I’ll have enough different looks with this vest that I could put together a “ways to wear” post and round up a bunch of different looks. But this is actually the first time I’ve ever featured it on the blog – although I’ve had it FOREVER.
