Does anyone else feel like accessories are the most fun they’ve been in YEARS right now? I’m usually just shoe-obsessed (my mama being a shoe designer doesn’t help my problem), but right now I want literally allll the accessories – from jewelry to bags to sunglasses and everything in between. It’s such a fun and easy way to add a trend to an otherwise basic outfit. Plus, accessories tend to be cheaper than most clothing, so SCORE! Here’s a quick roundup of the accessories (and trends) I’m very much into right now:

Shells, like literal pucca shells and others, are having a comeback moment right now and I’m honestly loving it. I’m sharing a few items where they are featured and if done right I think they look so chic! Mother of pearl is also a huge summer trend that is always classy with a gold earring or necklace. Also, you can’t go wrong with tortoise shell accents on handbags or sunglasses during the summer – it brightens the whole look.
Straw. OK, y’all know straw is a summer staple material – it gives any outfit that beachy feel. There are SO many straw bags and straw jewelry options so I linked a few of my favorites that won’t completely break the bank.
Clear or acrylic detail on jewelry, sunglasses and bags (and even shoes) is also a huge summer trend right now that I am loving. I wear this clear bag with so many outfits because it goes with everything!
