One of my favorite things to wear before the Fall temperatures start to really drop is a swing dress with boots. There’s something so fun, cute, and casual about throwing on a swing dress with ankle booties and a statement accessory (e.g., a hat or a scarf). I mentioned on my instagram last week that a dress with boots has been my fall uniform as of late. And I featured a similar (yet different) dress with boots look on the blog last week and shared which self tanner I use. Plus I’ve got another dress with boots look coming next week too that I shot while in Manchester, VT 🙂 All that to say, it’s obviously a favorite look of mine!
For this outfit, I paired my swing dress with a leopard scarf to tie together the neutral-themed look. I’ve loved playing around with an all neutral color palette with my fall outfits lately and a good leopard print is often the perfect finishing touch. I mentioned in my post about my top 12 fall essentials that a touch of leopard is an easy way to spice up any Fall outfit; this outfit is a perfect example of how to do that with a printed scarf.
This swing dress would have also been cute with a leopard cardigan (love this one!) or even a leopard print clutch (like this one). Either way, adding leopard is such an easy way to pull together an outfit!
