Blake’s Tea Party Birthday

I can’t believe Blake is already two! It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating her first birthday, and now here we are, throwing a tea party for our sweet girl.

This year, I wanted something sweet and special that didn’t feel over the top. After some serious Pinteresting, I saw the cutest tea party idea. Blake loves playing with her tea set at home, I knew “Tea for Two”was the perfect theme for her party.

You might remember Madeleine from Madeleine Creative from basically all of our previous parties. She is an absolute wizard when it comes to event planning and entertaining. She knows all of the best vendors and resources around… plus, she can take your vision and bring it to life without a second thought.

We started with an adorable setup from WOW Balloons, who did an awesome job on the balloon garland and backdrop. It gave the party an instant wow factor—no pun intended. For the kiddos, we rented the cutest bounce house from The Dallas Party. It was a huge hit and kept them entertained while the adults got to visit.

We also had a variety of light bites for everyone. Central Market is my go-to for food catering, and this year we also included Chick-fil-A for the kids.

If you’ve ever tried Susie Cakes, you know they make the most beautiful birthday cakes. I love how the cake turned out…so simple and sweet. Madeleine made the cookies—how cute are they?? We also had macarons from Joy Macarons that were almost too pretty to eat.

Oh, and last but definitely not least, here’s a link to the dress I wore to the party.

If you’re looking to plan a birthday or any kind of event, I’ve linked all of my vendors below plus the decorations we used to bring Blake’s tea party to life!
