Behind The Scenes: My 4th of July Weekend

Wow – it’s always hard coming back after a long weekend! I think everyone is feeling the struggle on this Monday. Did you have a good 4th of July?

I had a wedding in Austin on Saturday, so I ended up spending the entire weekend there and making a little trip out of it! Like always, Austin was such a blast. And the wedding was too good for words. Seriously, though. It was so amazing. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed that it was Kelly Wynne’s wedding (you know…that handbag designer I wear quite a bit?!) She looked stunning, the fun was amazing, the decor was top notch and the entire experience was pretty much indescribable. I had an absolute blast!

The wedding was at the Austin Country Club – such a beautiful place for a wedding! I wore a hot pink (ummm LOVE) Amanda Uprichard Maxi Dress, simple black heels and black and gold Kendra Scott baubles to match my KW bag :)

My 4th of July was just how I like it – simple and relaxing. I didn’t do much of anything, but it was a great way to spend the holiday :)

Had some pretty berries and did a little festive arrangement….and then topped the day off with LOTS of mexican food from Gloria’s.

Of course, I had to wear my red white and blue on Friday – how cute are these DK Stephanie Wedges?!
