If you know me, you know weeknights are… a lot. I’m solo parenting, usually juggling dinner, endless activities, and a dozen other things at once—and standing over a stove watching food cook just isn’t realistic. Enter the AbyAMC Grill Pan. I’ve been putting this to the test a lot lately (we’re on day six of being snowed in, so yes, there has been plenty of cooking).
Here’s what I love most: once you download the Cook & Go app and connect it via Bluetooth, the pan basically does the thinking for you. As it heats up, you’ll get a notification letting you know when it’s time to put your food on. Another alert tells you when it’s time to flip. That means I can step away—fold laundry, help with schoolwork, break up sibling chaos—and not worry about burning dinner. For busy weeknights, this is huge.
The pan itself is stainless steel, which I didn’t realize would make such a difference. I barely use oil or added fats, but everything still gets those perfect grill marks and cooks evenly. It’s great for healthier meals without feeling like you’re giving anything up. Plus, it’s actually pretty—nice enough to bring straight to the table and use as a serving dish.
The real MVP is the Audiotherm, their smart cooking assistant. It actively monitors temperature and time, alerting you exactly when it’s time to take action. With the vegetable window, roasting window, and timer, cooking feels straightforward—even on distracted, exhausted days.
Bottom line: this pan fits real life. Busy, messy, snow-day, solo-parent life—and I’m officially sold.
