So I mentioned a few days ago that my mom was in Hong Kong – how crazy is that? I’ve never been, but I would love to go someday. She is working on making the appropriate contacts across seas in order to enter into the apparel industry. If all goes as planned, she will hopefully be able to launch her collection for the Spring & Summer of 2013! This polka dot dress I have on is actually one of her samples/prototypes for a class shift dress.  So, I thought I’d give you a little sneak peak of what is hopefully to come in a year or so. It sounds like a long time, but it’ll be here before you know it!

I received my first batch of product “giftings” in the mail this past week, and I cannot wait to put them up on the blog! With Mardi Gras coming up this weekend, the city is already on fire and full of energy – there must be a parade for every single night this week! It’s crazy.

I’m working on getting my mom to tweet more, but she says it’s “too complicated” haha. One day, she’ll get the hang of it! But for now, she forwards me texts/emails with tweets for the DeeKellerDesign twitter account. If you’re not following, you should definitely do so in order to stay up-to-date with the latest!
